How's it going everyone! Trying to continue on the trend of actually updating my blog here and there ^^ Two posts in one year, Wow! I've been using my neocities page here as a link to my actual commission information and a "where to find me", so I would definitly say I'm starting to use it more!
Update on my projects
Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Exploration Team Ultra [PMD ETU] has been on almost entirely a grinding hault, as I've been busy with some IRL stuff, but I am still working on it when I find the time and motivation! I'm slowly moving into drawing it on my Ipad instead of my laptop, so I think that should help speed it up! In general I'm trying to use my ipad more for drawing as its easier on my hands and I can draw longer, but its a bit of a learning curve to get my style to look right in procreate.
I'm making steps towards learning how to sew! I recently got a used sewing machine from my dad, but when I say used it turns out its from the 1960's, and is in pretty horrendous shape. [Singer 775, for those interested]. It has all of the attatchments, but its missing all of the cords, plus its very rusted and the paint is flaking. I'm thinking, especially as someone who doesn't know how to use a sewing machine, let alone restore one, that my better bet is going to be to save up some money and buy a new model. Maybe I'll fix the old one up someday though!
I'm starting to work more on Lacelions! Only now and then, but I figure working on them a bit is better then not touching them at all! After all, I'm not willing to sell or give them away as they've always been in the back of my mind.
In terms of writing, I will be starting an OC novel soon! Its not for any of my current ocs, because I'm too worried about getting their stories perfectly, so I'm working on a completly new project from scratch. My main goal for it is to just make something that's finished, as the biggest thing I struggle with when it comes to writing is actually finishing and posting things. I won't give too much away about the plot, just know its about furries! I'm designing the characters now, so keep an eye on my social media for that! I'll probably make the story itself its own tumblr blog as usual, but as always my art will be crossposted across most of the platforms I'm on.
General Life News
I've been very busy IRL- my main job/source of income has been cutting my hours, so I had to pick my part time job back up, which means I work 6 days a week. That, on top of the fact that my main job has been changing our hours [half the week my shift starts at 2, and half of the week my shift starts at 6], it makes it very hard to keep up a workflow on my creative projects. That being said, I still have stuff I want to work on- its just at a slower pace ^^
